About Me

Hi, I'm Claire, and I believe the pain you feel -- in your mind, your body, and even your spirit -- is not a mere inconvenience to override, but a trailhead. It's a trailhead toward something deeper inside of you, something that has been love-starved for way too long.

Like many of us, you probably weren't given a map. Maybe your family didn't meet your emotional needs so you became numb to your feelings. Maybe societal programming forced you to hide essential parts of yourself. Maybe trauma altered your sense of security in the world. Now you might find yourself trying to anesthetize the sore spots inside of you with unfulfilling relationship patterns, substances, overworking, or other process addictions. These realizations can be painful, but in opening to feeling them, a path to healing unfolds. It isn't a linear ascent, but a winding road -- one that doesn't need to be traveled alone.

In my role as your companion on the journey, I see your innate wholeness and am here to walk alongside you, with patience and even some levity, until you see it too. Because, paradoxically, self-love is rarely an inside job. It's a habit that first needs to be experienced relationally and consistently until it's internalized.

How I Work

As a mindfulness-based somatic therapist, I stay attuned to the fine details -- a sigh, a shift in expression, a movement of your eyes -- because these small moments are often signals of deeper truths emerging. Together, with curiosity, we will consciously hear, feel, and integrate the parts of you that have been left behind. We'll uncover who you really are: the "you" that transcends all the pain you've been through.

I'm not the kind of therapist who's stoic and unaffected. I feel most alive in this work when I bring my entire self into the room, because I believe your authenticity requires my own authenticity. I'm often inspired by my clients' wisdom or moved by their pain, and I don't try to hide that on my face.

I bring an exploratory, intuitive mindset into the therapy room. You are the author of your story, and I am your creative collaborator. Sometimes I lead with gentle guidance, reflection, and slowing down. Other times, what might serve you best is for me to step back so you can step forward. But what always remains is my determination for you to see yourself as I see you: already whole and inherently worthy.
